    • Sheet/View Set Selection

    Whether exporting via Quick Export or Batch Export, specifying the set of sheets and/or views to be exported is an essential choice that needs to be made. There are three methods to define this selection, each of which is covered in this topic.

    Built-in

    There are four built-in sheet/view sets within Ideate ExportHub:

    <Active View>

    This option will include only the active Revit view within the exported set. This pertains to either a Revit Sheet or Revit view.

    <Open Views>

    This option will include only the open Revit views within the exported set. This pertains to either Revit Sheet and/or Revit views.

    <All Sheets>

    This option will include all sheets in the project but will exclude placeholder sheets. This is recommended only for simple projects.

    <Select Sheets/Views…>

    Choosing this option lets you manually select the sheets and/or views to be included within the exported set. Within the By Selection dialog, use the Filter at the top to filter on Sheets, Views, or use All for both. Each column header can be filtered as shown below. Typing “S1” in the Name column, for example, lets you quickly select only the sheets that begin with S1.

    Revit Sheet/View Sets

    Using an existing Revit Sheet/View set is also possible. The drop-down list will display any Revit Sheet/View set that has already been defined within the project. 

    Dynamic Sheet/View Sets

    You can create and use Dynamic Lists of Sheets and/or Views based on parameter values within Ideate ExportHub to avoid the problem of missing important sheets or views, which can occur when a Revit Sheet/View set is used. Learn more: Dynamic Sheet/View Sets
