  • Import Embedded Excel Images

    • Import Embedded Excel Images with Ideate Sticky

    Ideate Sticky supports the importing of images that have been embedded within the Excel file.

    The images must be placed ‘over cells’. Inserting images ‘in cell’ is not supported, these will not display inside Revit.

    Each image will be scaled to fit within the Excel cell that aligns with the upper-left corner of the image. For best results ensure that your image does not overlap any adjacent cells. You can use the merge cells function to enlarge the area if necessary, to accommodate the image.

    In the image below, the first example shows how the Sticky looks with the image spans more than one cell within Excel. In the second example the cells (A1:A2) have been merged, resulting in a better fit.
