When it comes to model health, BIM Managers understand the importance of managing the quality of the design documents. Important information about this quality can be exported via IdeateApps>Annotate to help ensure the legibility of your documents, avoiding problems like the clash shown below.
The process of automatically exporting this information is integrated into the health check scripts called ISW-Health_Check which are described under \02 Health Check\ scripts. The results of this automated data export is displayed on the front page summary of the Ideate Health Check Excel file, shown here. The script will perform the export from one or multiple Revit models and save the results at the specified location. This Excel file ships with Ideate Automation and can be adjusted to meet your health check goals. In this example the limit for acceptable annotation issues is set to 3 per sheet and conditional formatting flags when this threshold is exceeded. You may want to set a lower tolerance for your own projects.
