Ideate Sticky imports and synchronizes your Excel, Word and PDF file content into the Revit project environment. To ensure consistent graphic results, all Ideate Sticky end-users should be updated at the same time. See below for a summary of the new features, or check out our YouTube What's New in Ideate Software playlist.
This release adds support for Revit 2026 and continues to support the previous three releases. The Ideate Sticky sample Excel files have been updated in this release to use the default Microsoft Office theme which uses the default theme called Aptos. The newer MS font called Aptos is designed to “[maintain] its relative shape on different screen sizes and resolutions.” When this theme is used (or any theme with the default font of Aptos), the Ideate Sticky image and Schedule content will result in improved sizing fidelity.
This release includes critical changes required to support the Autodesk Revit 2025 shift to the more modern .NET core platform. It also includes an important bug fix related to a “Duplicate Key” error related to the INI file.
This release contains an important fix related to the recent Autodesk Desktop Connector 16.x release. Without the fix you will see the condition noted below. When you deploy the newer version of Ideate Sticky your file paths to either the Desktop Connector 15.x pathing or the newer Desktop Connector 16.x pathing will be supported as expected.

When you upgrade to Autodesk’s Desktop Connector 16.x you will find that it has some features that can be used in conjunction with Ideate Sticky to great effect, ensuring file syncs for your project Stickies. Learn more about the benefits here.
This release has performance improvements that will significantly reduce the time required to open Ideate Sticky. This is particularly relevant in projects where 10 or more Stickies have been placed.
Also, per customer request, we’ve added a Show File button from within the main dialog of Sticky to give you easy access to view your existing placed Stickies.
