Due to the large amount of Revit information being managed by Ideate BIMLink, it is a best practice for the project team to synchronize with the central file before using Ideate BIMLink. This will reduce errors during data imports. Also, it will ensure that the Data Storage Element workset is available for borrowing, which is a requirement for being able to create new links. Existing links in the project can still be exported even if the Data Storage Elements workset is not available for borrowing. This built-in workset is used to store the list of links available to Ideate BIMLink within the project file.
