Settings for Ideate SheetManager are accessed through the ‘cog’ icon found in the upper right-hand corner of the main dialog, as shown below. Within Settings there are two tabs: Viewport Types and Title Blocks.
When you use the Revit Project Browser to drop a view onto a sheet, it will use a default viewport type. If you need to change the viewport type later, you would need to follow the Autodesk Revit instructions. When you use Ideate SheetManager, you can eliminate the need to change the viewport types, because you can automatically pre-define them via the Settings, as shown. After launching the Settings you will want to Assign the Viewports to each View Type.
Each type of View will be displayed within the Settings. For each View Type listed you may assign from the list of Viewport Types defined within the current Revit project. By default the Revit default Viewport type will be listed.
Tip: These assignments are specific to the Revit project and can be setup within your Revit template file.
On the Title Blocks tab within Ideate SheetManager>Settings you can set the margins for each loaded title block. This will establish the remaining area within which SheetManager can array multiple views when they are dropped onto a sheet as described above.
Set the values for all margins within the Default area to align with the most common conditions then for any title blocks with differing margin values, make modifications in the table as shown below.
