    Ideate Software can be configured to auto-activate without user interaction when it is deployed using Ideate Software Installer. Read more here. This solution is recommended for deployments in a corporate environment or when managing multiple Ideate Software solutions.

    If you install Ideate Software and you do not already have an active license, you will need to activate each solution separately. This can be done in the application itself in case of Automation or in any Revit version for the rest of Ideate solutions. Once licensed, all installed versions will continue to work for as long as your Subscription is active, including any newly deployed year versions. (Note: FlexLM licensing uses license files that need to be replaced when renewing your Subscription) 

    Ideate software can be licensed entering a license code or FlexLM license server name (as @servername) into the provided multi-functional field, then selecting the Activate... button. The same process needs to be repeated for all installed Ideate solutions.

     

    The same process is used to switch between different license types if needed. Enter the new/desired license info and click the Activate button.

    If you do not have a license code, see Obtaining a License. If you are having trouble with this part of the activation, your network may be preventing access to our licensing portal. Please grab a screenshot of any error messages and the Manage License dialog and email us at [email protected]
